About Me

I am a sophomore at the School of Computer Science, Carnegie Mellon University.

I care deeply about ensuring that Artificial Intelligence benefits humanity. My research interests are in meta-learning, open-endedness and scalable oversight.

My hometown is Singapore. Bak chor mee, ramen, XO fish meehoon and beef rendang are some of my favorite foods. Outside of Computer Science, I enjoy photography (especially astrophotography), music (piano, guitar, beatboxing), badminton, and cooking :)

ZettelLinker

Jun 2025 - Present

I'm trying to build an Obsidian plugin that suggests wikilinks in a style similar to GitHub Copilot/Cursor Tab to support my Zettelkasten workflow.

Local Transcriber

Aug 2025 - Present

A local audio transcription tool so that I quickly voice-dump my thoughts. Journaling is important as it helps me reflect. Reflection is very important for learning. But sometimes I'm bottlenecked by the keyboard, so a voice interface would be faster.

Astro Party / Astro Duel Recreation

Aug 2025 - Present

A recreation of the game Astro Party / Astro Duel, a multiplayer game where players control spaceships and try to shoot each other down. The original game was made by Rusty Moyher. I am recreating it as a personal project with AI assistance to learn more about game development, especially in the context of multiplayer games.
